Abraham Lincoln could listen to different points of view

Abraham Lincoln could listen to different points of view. This meant he had to be fair and just, and know when make a decision after listening to different opinions.
He learned from his mistakes and acknowledged them
He could share his success and make others feel proud of what he had accomplished. He once said “path of success is broad enough for two”.
He shared blame for failure when other members in his party made mistakes
He could control his emotions well, and when he was angry with others he was good at not showing his anger. This made him approachable and kind.
He had a clear vision, and stuck to his goals. When the North started to lose the war, some officers asked him to compromise on slavery, but Abraham did not listen to them and eventually the North win the war.
He also could communicate his vision clearly to the people of his country.
