In the novel 1984 by George Orwell the central topic idea was rebellion against the authority, the setting of the story presents to us a dystopian society in Oceania where their people are oppressed and are completely banned from expressing sort of Individualism. The main character Winston is citizen of Oceania who works in the Ministry Of Truth slowly he begins to take part in acts that a strictly prohibited he starts by writing in a journal despite the possibility that the thought police were to catch he stays hold to the belief that the government of oceania isn’t as perfect as they are believed to be. This political fiction expressed Orwell’s fear of the totalitarianism and the way it was beginning to impact the society. His vision in where the people believe everything they were told to by the media. In oceania the “Party” is seen as the top authority it uses its authority and technology to put fear over their citizens.
